Terms and Conditions for Curious Kids Daycare

Welcome to Curious Kids Day Care Calgary. By enrolling your child and using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline your responsibilities, our commitments, and the expectations for both parties.
1. Enrollment and Registration
- Parents/guardians must complete the enrollment process by submitting all required forms, including emergency contact details, medical records, and consent forms.
- Enrollment is subject to availability and the acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Fees and Payments
- Fees must be paid in full and on time as per the payment schedule provided during registration.
- Late payments may incur additional charges.
- Any changes to fees will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
- Refunds are not provided for missed days due to illness, vacations, or unforeseen absences.
3. Hours of Operation
- Our day care operates Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM..
- Parents/guardians must adhere to drop-off and pick-up times. Late pick-ups may result in additional fees.
4. Health and Safety
- Parents/guardians must notify us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs.
- Children with contagious illnesses or symptoms such as fever, vomiting, or diarrhea must be kept at home.
- If a child becomes ill during the day, parents/guardians will be notified and are expected to arrange immediate pick-up.
5. Behavior and Discipline
- We encourage positive behavior and will implement non-punitive discipline strategies, such as redirection and positive reinforcement.
- Repeated disruptive or harmful behavior may result in a meeting with parents/guardians to discuss solutions.
- In extreme cases, we reserve the right to discontinue services if behavior jeopardizes the safety or well-being of others.
6. Personal Belongings
- Parents/guardians are responsible for labeling their child’s belongings.
- Curious Kids Daycare is not liable for lost or damaged items, including clothing, toys, or personal devices.
7. Meals and Snacks
- Nutritious meals and snacks will be provided. Parents must inform us of dietary restrictions or allergies during enrollment.
- Outside food is permitted only with prior approval and must comply with our allergy and nutrition policies.
8. Communication
- Parents/guardians agree to provide up-to-date contact information and notify us promptly of any changes.
- Regular updates and announcements will be communicated via email, newsletters, or the day care’s app/website.
9. Emergencies
- In case of an emergency, we will follow our safety procedures and contact the provided emergency contact as soon as possible.
- Parents/guardians authorize Curious Kids Daycare to seek medical attention for their child if necessary.
10. Termination of Services
- Parents/guardians may terminate services by providing 1 calendar month written notice.
- We reserve the right to terminate services for non-payment, failure to comply with policies, or if we are unable to meet the child’s needs despite reasonable efforts.
11. Liability
- Curious Kids Daycare takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of children.
- We shall not be liable for injuries or accidents that occur despite proper supervision and adherence to safety protocols.
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions
- Curious Kids Daycare reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.
- Changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website at least 30 days before they take effect.
13. Acceptance
By enrolling your child at Curious Kids Daycare, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
